Welcome to Needabook.com. This site was developed to provide a dedicated service for students to buy and/or sell used text books. By accessing Needabook you are agreeing to the fore mentioned purpose of the site and the Terms listed below. These terms are designed to ensure the site remains focused to its purpose and useful to everyone who supports the spirit of that focus.


Restrictions of Posted Materials:

It is expected that the majority of the books posted on this site will be materials intended for scholastic purposes and of such content as may be allowed or prescribed at most post- secondary educational institutions. Post only original books as published (no unauthorized reproductions, photo copies, scans, etc). Posted items/materials must not violate Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright laws. Do not post false or misleading information. Items containing or promoting offensive, lewd, pornographic, erotic, obscene material will not be tolerated and subject to deletion from the site at the discretion of the site administrators..


Interfering or Abusing Needabook Site Operations/Content:

Do not use any automated means to access our site to collect content for any purpose without our express written permission. Do not collect information about our site users/members, including email address, without their consent. Do not impose any unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of our web site. Do not distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm or impede the property of our web site or that of our users/members. Do not copy, modify or distribute any other person's posting


Fees and Services:

The objective is to provide general posting/listings services free of charge. We may charge fees for certain services but these will always be fully disclosed to the user and subject to their acceptance. All fees will be listed in Canadian Dollars but we retain the right to alter that in the future as business circumstances warrant. Any changes to our fees will be announced on our site. We may establish short term promotional fees for a set duration at our discretion. All fees will be non-refundable and due at time of purchase. We retain the right to limit, stop or refuse the use of our services/products due to non-payment.


Liability:

We will take all reasonable measures to monitor user's postings but do not accept responsibility for the content or items posted by site users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of postings or the quality and legality of the items offered. We expressly disclaim all warranties, representations and conditions, express or implied, including those of quality, merchantability, merchantable quality, durability, fitness for particular purpose and those arising from statute. We are not liable for any loss, whether of money (including profit), goodwill, or reputation, or any special, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of your use of Needabook. We reserve the right to allow third party advertising on our site however this does not imply or state endorsement of their products or services. We will take all reasonable measures to ensure the quality of such advertisements comply with our own standards stated herein but do not guarantee such.


Safety and Personal Security:

We do not guarantee the sale of any items posted by our users. The use of our service is to publicly offer items for sale. We are not responsible for any transaction or consequence resulting from said connections. Sellers and consumers are responsible for their own welfare, monetary and personal, resulting from communication, financial transactions and contact with other users.
